Hey, I had a 3G for 7 years and it’s what got me into cars... Heavy, slow 4 cyl, automatic, trash heap. But it got me through highschool, college, and grad school. And, all of its faults (and the knowledge that I missed the better models) made me do all my research to correct them. 3 cars later I have a Cayman S!

So yeah actually I agree with you lol but it looked cool as hell in highschool compared to the Isuzu Oasis I had before!

They brought it back with the 4G. It was barely heavier than the 1G GSX, it had more HP/Torque than any Eclipse ever, it was the only Eclipse to come with a 6-speed manual, it was also the fastest Eclipse.

Too bad it never got the light it deserved after the flop that was the 3rd gen. 3rd gens make good motor donors for Mopars though....
